Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.1. When Brave opens only displayed half screen on RHS

Hi. Using Brave 1.76.82 on Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.1. When I open Brave it is only displayed half screen on the right. I have to click on the two triangles next to the Blue circle,top right of the screen for it to be displayed ‘normally’.
This happens every time I open Brave.
Is there a way to correct this please.
Thank you

@waylon

I find in general, that an Internet browser window size can be manually adjusted by grabbing a corner and dragging.

Where I leave that new size for the window, is the size used by the browser when making a new window.

That works (usually) for MacOS and Windows OS Brave Browser installations . . . re my experience.

The MacOS has a Saved Application State feature, that stores the window size, if I am not mistaken.

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
Unfortunately no matter how many times I drag the corner to a full screen.It always opens half screen.

@waylon

Any chance, there is some script that you could write, that tells the Internet browser to open a new window and also set that new window’s size?

For example, here is an AppleScript that will do that:

Hi. Thank you again for taking the time to answer.
The only script application that I know of in Linux is ‘Terminal’.
Unfortunately it doesn’t support the ‘tell’ command and I do not know enough about the Terminal commands to write any equivalent code.

Hi.
All sorted.
I am using ‘hot corners’. On another screen I had Brave opened half screen. Hence the browser on my Internet screen was just following suit from the one previously opened.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to help.
It is appreciated.
