Ledger Nano cannot get connected on Mac

Description of the issue: Brave Browser does not recognize Ledger Nano
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Just plug in the Ledger device
  2. Unlock the device
  3. Metamask and other apps will not recognize it

Expected result: Connect to Metamask and other apps without an issue

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.25.68 Chromium: 91.0.4472.77 (Official Build) (arm64)

Additional Information: My Ledger device can get connected without a problem on Firefox. Also, I have seen some posts in both this forum and on Reddit about this issue. They are all MacBook and Chromium-based browser users.

Brave doesn’t connect with ledger nano S and X since today.

Yesterday was fine.

Other browsers are fine.

I have the same problem with 1.25.68 … ledger can’t be found at all (bepswap, terra station, metamask…)

After installing an older version of Brave I managed to connect ledger with bepswap & terra station again, but metamask still refuses to connect.
