I have been having this issue for quite sometime and couldn’t find a solution still. When using Brave or Chrome from my laptop IdeaPad 5 Pro 16 (with XE iGPU & RTX 3050 dGPU) connected to an external monitor (Extended Mode), the webpages rendered very slowly or even scrolling is laggy on external monitor only. Take an example of loading a YouTube video or its homepage.
This situation is not replicated somehow with Microsoft Edge which works smoothly even though they are all based on Chromium.
Any idea what it could be? Brave is latest version, Windows 11 24H2 with all display drivers updated both on Intel Xe and Nvidia GPU.
I have tried disabling Hardware Acceleration but to no effect. It does not look like frame drops, it is stuttering and split-sec freezing. The fact that Edge works smooth baffles me the most. Maybe it has something to do with Windows 11.
