Is Widevine support on Linux ever coming?

Description of the issue:
Video will not play on WideVineCDM sites such as Netflix, Hulu, Philo, Prime Video, Spotify
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Open , Netflix, Hulu, Philo, Prime Video and try to play a video. Open Spotify and try to play music
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Expected result:
Video would play
Reproduces how often:
Every time I’ve attempted it for the past 8 months I’ve been using Brave
Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Version 0.60.48 Chromium: 72.0.3626.121 (Official Build) (64-bit) on KDE Neon 5.15.2
Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):
Yes
Additional Information:
It looks like there was an old bug report for this but it looks like it was closed without ever addressing the issue https://github.com/brave/browser-laptop/issues/5282. It seemed to suggest that this would start working when the Chromium engine was used but, of course, it doesn’t work even on the latest version of Brave. I’m just curious if it’s ever going to be fixed?

Hi @ringofvoid,
It’s coming. :slightly_smiling_face:

If you follow the thread that you linked above, it’ll redirect you to https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/413.

If not changed, it’ll available with 0.62.x release.
