Is there some way to turn on automatic notification of update availability?

Fiddled a little under the covers (of the OS not Brave) and after this morning’s boot up I have these:

Also, the boot up time was faster (maybe related?).

We’ll see what’s what after the next update.

Go to ’ About Brave’. An update is available so it downloads the update. All through, so it prompts to relaunch. ​I relaunch. Checks for update, then prompts to relaunch again. I relaunch. ???) Does it again and again. Nothing I can’t work around manually under the covers, but I’d rather it work right.
