Description of the issue:
When I’m using Brave I always get the following in task manager
- Brave Software Update (64 bit)
- Brave Software Update (32 bit)
- Brave Software Updatee (32 bit) (again)
Both the Brave services are not currently running at the time this appears in task manager.
Does the updater have to be running all the time when I have my web browser open? Is there a way to turn it off?
It’s slowing down my computer.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open Brave
Expected result:
The Brave Updater should either not run at all, run or disappear, or only run when I deliberately check for updates.
Brave Version( check About Brave):
I’m using Windows 10 21H1 and Brave version 1.30.89 with Chromium version 94.0.4606.81 running as 64 bit.
