Every time I try to update it via internal installer it shows:
“Nearly up to date! Relaunch Brave to finish updating.
Version 1.2.41 Chromium: 79.0.3945.88 (Official Build) (64-bit)”
That happens with old versions one year ago, happens now and maybe will happen in few years again too. I don’t want to download updaters manually, could you just fix it like any other modern browser?
I believe this one is already fixed. But you’ll need a newer version to receive the fix.
If you have a copy of the installer – download again via brave.com if have no copy on your machine > then just re-run the installer.
Brave will force update and fetch the latest version. No need to uninstall. Just run the installer.
