Hi there, new here so if I break any rules be gentle.
I’ve used Brave for over a year now and generally like it. However I’m finding it has slowed down. A short while ago I rebooted my PC and when all was opened I used CTR-ALT-DEL to open up Task Manager and found there were 18 instances of Brave running in the background, this was with me not even running Brave after the reboot.
Can anyone tell me how to stop this and stop it happening again? Or point me in the right direction.

Using Brave [Version 1.9.80 Chromium: 81.0.4044.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)]
and Windows 10.

Can you try disable (something like) “Running in the background” option (I’m AFK and forgot the option label) which can be found under Brave’s Settings?
