I’ve looked at the ‘appearance’ settings but am unable to do this - is it possible or could the devs add this please? I am not a fan of the current layout as it’s not as symmetrical and the hierarchy feels wrong. I think these changes would make it significantly better
Address bar on top (centred) (Can include a + icon to the right of it to open a new tab)
Tab bar below it (and only shows if more than one tab exists)
This sounds like a “I want Brave to look like Safari” Feature request, which is fair, everyone has their preferences (and I’m not saying it’s a bad preference or that I don’t agree with you), but I don’t think Brave is there yet or is likely to do it or at least able to do it now but who knows, so I might suggest editing your original post and changing the categories to:
Yes Safari has the same but that’s not why I want to do it - the address bar at the top is just a better design. It’s more symmetrical, offers lower footprint when there’s only one ‘tab’ (so the tab bar doesn’t need to show if there’s only one), it puts the controls at the top, etc.
