Install fails with "error 0xc0000139"

I attempted to install Brave for the first time using BraveBrowserSetup32.exe. Download looked fine but Install aborted with “error 0xc0000139”

@gdix133 Thanks for reporting the issue. Can you please provide the below additional information.

1. Which version of brave are you trying to install
2. Windows version ( e.g Windows 10 x64)

Can you try fresh install and let us know if you are seeing the same issue. Follow the steps below:

1. Uninstall all Brave versions from Control Panel
2. Remove BraveSoftware folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\BraveSoftware
3. Remove BraveSoftware from AppData\Local\BraveSoftware
4. Go into regedit and specifically look for the below two keys:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BraveSoftware\
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\BraveSoftware\
  Delete BraveSoftware folder from both keys

5. Download and install brave from https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/releases/tag/v0.58.18
