In January, I watched over 500 advertisements but received only 0.265813 BAT (Basic Attention Token) as a reward. Despite engaging with a significant number of ads, the payout was quite low.

I am having a similar issue. I have watched ~ 300 Ads but I have received much less then I anticipated. I never expected to get rich using Brave Rewards, but this was just underwhelming. Weirdly enough, despite watching fewer ads (Most of which where related to Brave self-advertising which I assume pays the lowest) I somehow got actually a bit more then AMIT291 at 0,328 BAT? I’ve only used it for 1 month so far, so I’ll give it 1-2 months more and maybe I get Ads with much better payout, but if it doesn’t improve I’ll probably resign from the program. Because for 26 Cents it just isn’t worth the distraction.

@TheRobLP and @TheRobLP this may not be unusual. It all depends on the amount of ads in your area. If there aren’t a lot of campaigns, then the majority of ads you are seeing may be Brave’s house ads, which we don’t get paid to see.

I see. Thank you very much for your reply and insight. I already thought Brave Ads pay less but I didn’t know that they don’t pay at all. Would you know if there is a way to disable Brave in-house ads? Not because I find them annoying (Although the pop-up ones are), but because if I see them, they still count towards the “Ads Viewed” and I would like to have my Rewards overview to have paid ads only. Aaand, by now I probably know the exact wording of each ad in my sleep 
. Also, did you mean to tag @AMIT291 ? Because I can see that you have pinged me twice, which I assume was on accident.

You’re right, meant to tag each of you once but accidentally clicked on you again it seems.
Not really. I mean, if you go to brave://rewards there’s a 30-day Ads History section. If you click it you can see what ads you’ve seen and they let you do thumbs up or thumbs down. If you hit the thumbs down, it shouldn’t show you the ads from that campaign again.
But there are often multiple campaigns and they constantly fluctuate. There’s no permanent way to prevent them.

A few months ago, they were paying a fair amount for the Ads we watched. However, over time, their approach has changed. While they continue to earn significant profits, they have drastically reduced the amount they pay us. This shift suggests that they have become more focused on maximizing their own earnings while offering us only a minimal share, making their business practices seem increasingly greedy.
@AMIT291 you are wrong about that. They have actually been struggling a little bit. They’ve had a couple layoffs and are trying to get things together so money can start coming in again.
But they certainly have not had significant profits. They are still paying us the 70%.
