I earned $0.06 even though I viewed more than 400 ads per month. Do you think this is normal?

It all depends on your country, ads available, etc. A lot of ads are about 0.005 BAT each. At least some of the 400+ ads you saw would have been House Ads, which pay nothing.
Let’s pretend you got paid all of them and they averaged about 0.005 BAT per ad multiplied by 400 = 2 BAT.
BAT is currently prices at $0.13480, which we can round down and say about $0.13 each.
So likely on the high end, you would have gotten $0.26
I’m in the United States where there tends to be more ads. I saw over 800 ads. Might actually have gotten to over 1,000 ads, but hadn’t paid much attention.
I received just over 3 BAT, for $0.51
Again though, depends on ads you saw. Like the ones below are House Ads, which you see mention they pay 0 BAT:
And even ones that pay may not be much, like these for just 0.0025

Thank you for this! I was just about to open a topic to give feedback why I am going to deactivate rewards again and this is exactly why.
When I first downloaded brave because of the youtube sponsorings (2019?) I got up to $12 within a couple weeks. It stayed like that for a couple months. Just from ads. It then completely disabled for 6 months and from then it sometimes worked sometimes it didn’t but seeing that much money flow in passively from just a couple ads was EVERYTHING.
I have no clue what happened to brave and their advertisers inbetween then and now but a couple cents for hundreds and hundreds of ads is more of a hassle than any benefit at all. I had rewards activated for probably 5 months again and got like 7 CENTS in total. Yikes. I want to support the Idea of brave but the notification ads are just too intrusive for being basically worthless.
Good to see that it is not something that changed just for me but apparently a general issue. And also apparently very known in the community and users are turning ads off. I really appreciate the effort you put into your Linked post and to think you don’t even work for them!? I couldn’t get a response out of anyone from bave in 2020 so I’m glad you stepped up atleast. They should hire you and fix their ish.
I had so much hope and installed brave on several of my family members and friends computers so I hope Brave finds a more profitable way to benefit users, advertisers.
