I have during the day tried to set up a Wallet through my Brave browser, but once I have filled in all the details on the page with the heading “Join Uphold” and click the green “Next”-button at the end - nothing happens. There is a half-second when the button shows the circulating thinking-sign, then nothing. I cannot get past it. I’ve tried disabling my VPN, restarting the browser, restarting the computer.
Hope there is a solution!
I am doing this on a Browser on a MacBook Pro M1 with iOS Ventura 13.0.
I know there used to be an issue with joining Uphold via Brave in the past. The get-around back then was to first register and verify with Uphold directly on their website, and once verified (which isn’t always instant) go back to Brave to connect and link the two. Hopefully this helps, but if it doesn’t work for you, I’m copying @Saoiray who I know is knowledgeable on this topic,see if he can help you!
@Southgrove I’ll be curious to see if anything has changed after @Thrive offered a suggestion. As for me, I’m kind of fixated on information you failed to provide, one thing you kind of said incorrectly, and then just want to see if some things might help
What version of Brave are you using? (you never mentioned. Exact version number is always helpful. Things like “the latest” or having us assume can lead to not getting issues resolved)
I’m guessing it’s safe to assume you meant Mac Ventura? You see, iOS is for iPad and iPhone, where Mac is for desktop and laptop.
Just out of my own curiosity, any reason why you haven’t updated your Ventura to 13.6.3?
If you were to force a patch of Brave by going to brave.com/download and installing on top, does it fix anything? (to be clear, I’m not saying to uninstall Brave. I just want you to download and install, this will repair any corrupt or missing files, if any)
If above doesn’t work, can you test in a new browser profile? Hamburger Menu → More Tools → Add new profile
