How to backup wallet without Uphold?

Hey guys,

I accumulated some more BAT over the past years and now I have to backup my wallet cause I’ll get a new laptop. So backup phrases are no longer available, I have to create an Uphold account. I come from germany, so it is not supported on Uphold. So now I need to backup my wallet but got no chance to do so… Is there any way to extract backup phrases or backup my wallet?
This is really rediculous since you cannot backup or transfer a wallet if your residence is not supported… :frowning:

So there is no chance and my BATs are lost? This can’t be real…
