How do I turn off URL auto complete?

Just downloaded version Version 0.64.76 Chromium: 74.0.3729.157 (Official Build) (64-bit), and I noticed as I type in the search field is suggests both things I’ve already visited and other random junk. I’d prefer to not have any suggestions, especially from my history.

However, I do want to keep my history saved, just not blasted on the search bar for all to see. This was an option in my former browser, Firefox.

I have “Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar” toggled off. Am I missing some other setting, or is this a bug?

Unfortunately we do not offer this at this time. I’m fairly certain this is a feature that we can get pushed into release if enough users show interest in it. I believe we had this feature in the Muon version of Brave but it hasn’t made it’s way to the newer builds.
