How can I translate Brave into my language (Basque)?

I would like to be able to use Brave in my language (Basque). How can I translate it? I am already enrolled in Transifex.

Thank you

Thanks for being interested to help localize Brave. Here’s some information to get started:

  • Brave use Transifex for localization effort. You can create an account if you don’t have one.
  • And go to this link https://www.transifex.com/brave/brave/ and search for Basque language project.
  • Click Join team, and if your request accepted, you can start to translating!
  • For translating, click resource that you want to translate. And then click Translate button.
  • Voila! Start translating the available strings.

Let me know if you have questions.
Thanks

Hi eljuno,

In “project languages” it says that the language already exists, but when I go to “join the team” Basque language does not appear in the list.

Can you try directly via https://www.transifex.com/brave/brave/language/eu/ ?

This link that you send me, redirects me to https://www.transifex.com/brave/brave/

And if I’m outside of Transifex, it gives me an error

I have created another account, to test. I have completed all the steps and I get this message:

Your request to join the Basque language (eu) has been sent. You will receive a notification of acceptance or denial.

Hi Eljuno,

I have seen that it is being translated into Basque, the language that I want to translate. For a long time, it is not translated, I would like to participate in the translation, but the platform does not allow me to access the group. Can you help me? What do I have to do to access?
