How about an option for private windows not to have the dark theme? Just a non-default option that way would be nice. Or a flag.
The dark themed new tab page is just fine, but the light theme (or at least a lighter theme) for the rest of it.
I find the dark theme not easy on the eyes.
There used to be a chrome extension that did this, but it no longer works.
