Having trouble with Video players, lagging while moving cursor over it

I have the same issue as this post here: I am having a problem with YouTube

I don’t really know how to solve this problem but I’ve been experiencing lag on all forms of videos on Brave. For example, viewing YouTube and moving my cursor on top of it will lag the video and cause my mouse to lag and skip frames. Very strange. I have this on Reddit videos, anime videos on certain sites, so basically any video playing will lag.

How to reproduce?

  1. Play a YouTube video
  2. Move mouse around for a few seconds to a minute

Expected result:

Video choppiness, lags mouse

Brave Version( check About Brave):

[Version 1.3.113 Chromium: 80.0.3987.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)]

Additional Information:

I would like to point out I also have tried this on Google Chrome and there aren’t any issues on there.

Does disabling Hardware accelleration in Brave settings help fix this @Paizuri ?

No, it does not. I tried it already

Hmm okay, could try clearning the youtube cookies and cache. Unless there is an another extension or possibly other hardware issues I’m not aware of. Its hard to say. Test on another PC with Brave installed?
