Have casting enabled, roku shows but unable to cast

Description of the issue:
Have enabled casting in the settings and cast appears in the menu, click on cast and the cast box shows with my roku but i’m unable to cast, i click on the device and nothing happens.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Have a roku
  2. Use the linux distro parrot os
  3. Enable cast and attempt to cast

Expected result:
cast to my roku
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.31.87 Chromium: 95.0.4638.54 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Installed via dpkg dependencies should be satisfied

Not sure how much I can help here but I’ll give it a shot.

Just to be clear, you’ve got the ‘Media Router’ setting enabled?

Is the Linux system on the same network as the Roku?

If possible, can you try updating Brave to 1.31.88? I doubt it will change much, but this feature’s been in flux over the last couple versions so might make sense to pick up from there if needed.

Yes it’s connected to the same network and yes Media router is enabled
