Got “This setting is managed by your administrator” in Sync Settings.
There is no Policy or Management in my system or browser.
System: Windows 11 22H2
Brave Version: Version 1.61.114 Chromium: 120.0.6099.199 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Similar to: sync-disabled-by-administrator
I am getting this error as well. Whenever I try to adjust the sync settings it, it does not save. This computer is my personal PC & is not managed by any organization or have any policies set.
Did anyone figure this out?

I have the same problem. Using latest version of Brave on Windows 11.

I managed to fix it as follows:
Uninstalled and reinstalled Brave.
Created a new sync chain:
After doing this, the sync options were no longer managed by the administrator.
Deleted the new sync chain.
Imported my previous (old) sync chain.
Now, it works!
