Sync has been disabled from admin

Hello. I’m on a Macbook with OSX 10.12.6
Brave version 1.41.100
I’m trying to enable sync on my device but the message ''Sync has been disabled from admin" shows up.

the sync was working before, then i quit the current sync chain and connected using another device’s sync code —> now i get that message!

Is it because of an error or why is this happening?

Hello there @nhouse is your mackbook a work device or it is a personal Mac? If its a personal use device, please try updating Brave on your device to see if this solves the issue.

To update it, please go to brave://settings/help > click update. Let me know if that works.

I’m having the same issue with extix deepin Linux. I don’t see an update to click

Update: 'Sync has been disabled from administrator" working with Brave nightly.

Hello @Kevin_cc . my macs are personal devices.
There is no click update button on brave://settings/help

@nhouse please try installing the Beta or Nightly version of Brave to see if the issue persists on those versions.
