Description of the issue:
google sites cannot be opened in brave
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
try opening any google site, like google.com or youtube
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Going through a VPN or using SecureDNS? What error message are you receiving? @WatcherX

not really. I’m using Apple’s private relay + cludlfare DNS + adguard, but every other sites are working fine. Only google is affected

one more thing. google is working from other browsers like firefox, only not working from Brave

Can you disable adguard/apple’s private relay, then re-check. Also check in private window mode also

disabled adguard and private relay, opened new private windows. still the same. other sites working fine, any google site just

There must be something blocking google access, it wouldn’t be Brave otherwise we’d get thousands of complaints. Try using Brave Beta (in a new profile) see if that makes a difference, does it Brave work on a different computer on the same network?

Maybe, but why every other sites are working from Brave and why Google is working from other browsers? Yes it works on my iPhone. Maybe it is something about deep TLS inspeciton which performed by my firewall

So, this is purerly related to deep TLS inspection because if I turn it off, it is working again. What is really strange it only affect chromium based browsers and only sites by Google. I’m sure there is something in the deep blocks access google if ssl inspection is on, however it seems it is only implemented in Chrome yet because from FF it is working fine… or maybe it is a rare constellation with Brave (chromium) + Google + Fortigate SSL inspection
