Description of the issue:
This issue is easiest described by viewing the attached screenshot. Essentially, Brave claims that I have videos/music playing in some of my open tabs. These videos are nowhere to be found in the websites, and the specific content has nothing to do with the websites or anything I’ve ever watched.
The worst part of this is that I’ll close the tab (which will make the video/music disappear), open a fresh version of the webpage, and a little bit later the music/video will come back. It happens to multiple, unrelated different webpages.
To my knowledge, nothing about Brave or my plugins (besides regular updates) has changed recently, so I’m concerned this problem might be malicious (which is hard to say because it doesn’t make sense).
How can this issue be reproduced?
I’ve been using Brave for over a year now, and this just started happening on my Windows 11 machine.
