Geofence is invoked by Marcus.com site

I tried this and it did not work. Cleared cache and settings, restarting browser and still got the same error message.

Has a solution to this problem been developed yet? I came close to a heart attack yesterday when I couldnā€™t access account when it had been working fine. Was sure my account was hacked by dude in India.

Seems to still be broken with the newest version.

Iā€™ve had the geoblock issue inconsistently for some time. Now, I donā€™t even get that. I get the error in the attached photo. Site works fine in Safari, so Iā€™m just using that for now.

@shivan wanted to tag you in to see if you might be able to have any ideas on this since seems nobody has figured issue out yet.

I received a little bit of the same message today. By performing a cleaning dns it seems to solve the problem but I did not deepen the thing
.

Weā€™ve looked into this but without much luck - we donā€™t know whatā€™s causing Marcus to mistakenly geoblock Brave users on their backend. Can folks reach out to their customer support complaining about this? Perhaps pressure will help here since this is clearly a site issue.

Marcusā€™ position is ā€œdonā€™t use Braveā€

Have folks had luck logging in with DuckDuckGo? Iā€™m wondering if Marcus Bank is actively blocking users with Global Privacy Control turned on, which would require them to stop selling or sharing your data.

Also, can folks try on the latest Brave Nightly? https://brave.com/download-nightly/

Whatever the problem was, it seems to be fixed. I was able to login from a Brave browser today.

I agree with JohnHartshorn. I was able to login multiple times from the Brave browser.
