I beg to differ. I don’t know if things have just changed, but when I created a Gemini account seven months ago (linked to my Brave Creators account), their KYC policy was strict and selective. Basically they only accepted new users who had a valid passport issued by the countries where Gemini was available. My passport was validated after 10 minutes.
You could also send your ID, but the people who had sent their own never managed to complete the verification process (the ID’s were rejected after weeks or months).

PS: AFAIK nobody said that you can be “anonymous” using Gemini.

Appreciate the options for wallet verification. However, there are a few things which I would like to be cleared.

  1. Kindly share a detailed process for Gemini verification for the ease of all users.
  2. What is the minimum BAT requirement to connect the wallet?
  3. Why is just my passport required for verification? No other ID Proofs can be used.
  4. Many users are facing problems while connecting with Gemini. Should I wait for some days for that to be figured out?

I was just wandering in flags setting and found out that there is a option for Gemini and the main thing was that it was pre-disabled but now I have enabled it. Now it works fine.

I’ve been having this in my brave://rewards-internals/ for like 3 days now and haven’t been able to find a solution. I have verified my wallet with Gemini but nothing is coming through into Gemini. Is there anything I can do?

I also tested it. You are right, Gemini won’t be available as an option to verify (brave://rewards/#verify) if Enable Gemini for Brave Rewards flag is disabled.

Great gemini. But it doesnt help me as being a german citizen. Since they dont operate in germany. While I sit here and cant link to my uphold anymore due to this arbitary device limit you are forcing onto us without giving us the option to remove old devices that are literally dead from our accounts.

I created a gemini account through brave and I did not get the 5 bat, also my balance disapeared, it is not in any wallet.

I heard that some people from the Philippines are buying verified uphold accounts. They could also do it in gemini. No wonder, PH is blacklisted from created new uphold accounts :rofl:.
