Fullscreen brave on external monitor = often the macOS top menu does not appear when hovering at the top

Description of the issue:
Whenever I open Brave into fullscreen on my external monitor, after a while it is not possible to make the macOS top menu appear when hovering over it. This issue never happens with Safari, or any other app really, so I am inclined to believe it is a Brave problem.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open brave
  2. Move the window to your external scree and make it fullscreen
  3. After some time of regular usage hover at the top to reveal the macOS menu bar (unclear how much time is needed, but this happens all the time for me - just not right after I open a fresh brave window)

Expected result:
Top menu bar should always appear if the cursor hovers at the top of the screen

Additional Information:

The issue can be remedied by revealing the macOS top menu on the laptop’s screen if there is a fullscreen app in it as well. After that the brave window will also start revealing the menu.

does disable hardware acceleration make difference?

Thanks for the suggestion - no difference though. After disabling it and relaunching, almost 5 minutes afterwards the bug was present.
