Brave (MacOS) is always on top / in front

Description of the issue:

I believe this issue began with the latest update of Brave (referenced below).

Regardless of what other apps are open, Brave insists on being ‘on top’, with its Menus the only ones visible - I cannot even get to other windows unless ALL brave windows are minimized - even then I still cannot access their menus. For that I must close Brave.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave.
  2. That’s it.

Expected result:

I expect to be able to ‘Command-Tab’ tab to other windows and have full use of those apps.

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.52.130 Chromium: 114.0.5735.198 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Additional Information:

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) - Forever stuck on macOS 10.15.7 Catalina.
