Follow up re: "Brave privacy not so private!" [2024/Oct]

Here is more evidence that TOR browsing via Brave is not private/secure…

After opening new ‘private’ window w/ TOR, I type in starting address of ‘whatsmyip.org’ URL.

Note that Brave lists old URL addresses I visited previously…

Clearly Brave keeps track/record of previous URLs visited in private mode w/ TOR.

By comparison… when I do the same thing w/ [Firefox] TOR browser application, I don’t get the old URL addresses I visited previously…

IMO Brave needs to clean up its implementation of private browsing via TOR.

If Brave developers do not fix this, then documentation should clearly warn users about this.

@attilathebun you do realize that your private session can see your normal session stuff, but it doesn’t work the other way around…right?

So as you’re showing, it means you either visited that in the current session or you visited on your normal session.
