On Brave, video doesn’t seem to play with Shields active. If I turn Shields off, it plasters me with ads but it will play. On Chrome, it seemed to play but Chrome actually did a better job of natively blocking pop-ups than Brave did.
I did not disable existing filters. But I did toggle between Aggressively Block Trackers & Ads, the default blocking, and then just completely disabling ads. Of course, trying to do Block Scripts would break everything.
