First, I’d like to congratulate you on the amazing work you’ve done with the Brave browser! I’m a big fan of its focus on privacy, performance, and usability.
I’d like to suggest a feature that I believe would bring even more practicality to many users: the ability to create and switch between “modes” or “profiles” (such as Personal and Work) within the same Brave account.
Currently, while it is possible to create multiple profiles, they work completely independently, duplicating history, bookmarks, and settings, which can be inconvenient. My suggestion would involve a more integrated solution, such as:
- Profiles Within the Same Account:
- When starting the browser, users could select between a “Work Mode” or “Personal Mode.”
- Each mode would automatically open a specific set of tabs and configurations, while bookmarks and history remain shared between modes.
- Quick Profile Switching:
- A button or shortcut within the browser to quickly toggle between modes, without the need to close or open new windows.
This functionality would be particularly helpful for those of us who frequently switch between work and personal contexts during the day.
