Different Brave Persons

Hi,

So in Chrome they have different Chrome Persons you can create, & then have open which are like different browsers instances.

This way you can open different accounts on gmail, FB, or other sites where you have different logins.

Of have one Chrome person for this client, another for another client, etc. With different plugins, settings, etc.

Can you PLEASE make that happen on Brave.

It’s a must for me before I move over completely.

Profiles are already available on Brave — click the person icon to the left of the menu ≡ icon.

Note that there is a current issue right now wherein the Edit feature for each profile isn’t present:

I was told that you can’t have multiple profiles open at the same time where you can open the same site & log in with different logins. That’s why I clarified above in my post.

Sorry, I don’t know what the edit function would do, but I’m glad you figured out there was a bug :slight_smile:

Like I said, profiles already work in Brave just like they do in Chromium.

Ahh, I see it now. I was only going by what Mattches told me in another thread. :frowning:

And now I know what he means by not being able to edit (I need that too even though Chrome doesn’t have that.)

Are you an admin?

How do I know who’s an admin on the forums? That Brave logo underneath your avatar?

Also, if you guys can make it look like it used to look UNTIL Google changed them about 6 months ago.

I used to be able to see what “person” I was on by just looking at the icon & the name of the person was listed there. There was something else they changed, but I can’t think of it right now.

Now I have to waste my time by mousing over the icon to see what person I’m on.

I screwed up & didn’t change the avatar & now I have 2 of the same avatar LOL, so that edit will be needed.
