I am sent an email several times a week with information about crimes within 2 miles of my house by crimemapping.com. Clicking the link in the email to bring up a map, I end up at “https://www.crimemapping.com/Error500.html”
Trying to access their home page (crimemapping.com), I get the same error page.
Migrated from Firefox last week, so new install of Brave, added extensions for my password manager and Pocket only. No other changes. Version 1.42.86 Chromium: 104.0.5112.81 (Official Build) (64-bit). I can access the same link using Firefox, so I know the site is not down or link error. My son had me click on the orange tiger, same error.
I would be grateful if someone can point me in the direction to look into, not very savvy with computers.
Thank you.
Thanks, that worked for me as well. Now the question is how do I get the link to work? I don’t want to post the link as it will show my address/location, but it starts as “https://www.crimemapping.com//Alerts/Crime/68771c44-ded7…”
Never mind. It seems to me that I need to be more tech savvy than I am to use this browser. Other small issues cropped up since, I need something that works right out of the box. I ended up deleting Brave and went back to Firefox.
