Cannot connect Brave to Uphold wallet

What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)? I have the same issue on Linux PC and Android Mobile

Cannot connect
Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?

Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)

Are you in a supported region ?

**Have you fully completed [Uphold’s CDD]

Is your ID you used for KYC / AML for Uphold from Portugal or the listed at

I guess the id you used is not from a region listed at the above.

BTW could you specify if you are able to click on the buttons or is the issue about greyed out Buttons?
If greyed out Buttons then go to brsve://rewards-internals
And in general info tab check for your region if it’s Portugal or not. That country is the one which you must’ve selected in the select region prompt for Brave rewards.

Thanks for your reply. My ID for Uphold and Brave Rewards/Brave creators is different.

How I can change the ID in Brave?.

The button is active and I’m reaching the area for login to my Uphold account. The issue appears when I return back to Brave

What country shows up in internals ?

I reset my Brave rewards data and having the same issue. Here are my details now:

At this moment I’m not able to verify Brave Rewards. Receiving the same error when connecting Uphold wallet after login in Uphold:

It seems that your Uphold I’d is not from Portugal. You need to update it to one from Portugal. Then you should be able to connect to Uphold.

How I can update this?

Thank you friend. Going to do this ASAP.

Uphold Support is sending me back here for further support. I followed all instructions but the problem is not solved.

Here is their reply:
" If you’re having a hard time linking your Uphold wallet with Brave, please continue your registration with “shields down.” You can put the shields back up once you’ve completed the registration.

You can also try to connect over a different network or turn off your VPN temporarily, if you happen to use one.

If you need further assistance, check Brave’s Help Center resources on how to verify your wallet with Brave browser.
