Dumb Question: I have to click view for it to 'count', right?

So … when I get the ad notification on my mac… do I actually have to click “view” for it to count? Or is the notification enough?

I read the FAQ before posting and I does not clear up my question. The FAQ says:

users receive BAT for viewing the ad notifications

The notification is the little square thing that pops up in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. So when it pops up, my eyes receive the photons produced from that area of the screen, and therefore I have “viewed” the notification.

If I then click on the notification, a tab in brave then loads the Ad.

So my question still remains: Is allowing the browser to pop up notifications earning me BAT or is actually clicking on the notification and loading the Ad earning me BAT?
