Confused on how to earn BAT

Hi, I just read the FAQ


and it states, “Users are rewarded for viewing ad notifications as they appear in Brave. Users are not rewarded for clicking on ads.”

So if I just leave the popup-ad on my screen I will get BAT, but as soon as I click the popup to visit the website I lose the BAT that I got from this popup?

No. That point mean you get rewarded with BAT by simply seeing the ad notification. Clicking the notification is not required.
