Download files tab moved from botton of the screen to the navigation tab

Hello.
First of all thank you for your great work, I love Brave! I have a little problem, not a bug at all, but something a bit uncomfortable for my use of Brave.

I have noticed that a change has been made in the file downloading tab position. Until one or two days ago the name of the file was placed at the bottom of the screen, while not there’s a tab on the top right, on the navigation bar, where the file names remain open for a while.

I think this is a bit uncomfortable in case of multiple downloads, as example from WhatsApp, where the download tab is placed more or less in the same position and Brave’s download list covers it.

Is it possible to put it back to the previous position at the bottom? I tried to find something in settings but could not find anything.

Found a way to revert after seeing the change details on https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/28562

  • Go to brave://flags
  • Search for download bubble
  • Disable then Relaunch

I despised this updated behaviour as well. Having the downloaded files at the bottom is a lot more convenient (for me)

Devs should make changes like these into choices
