Download dialog broken thus cannot download

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Attempt to download a file
  2. Usual prompt for download destination doesn’t appear
    3.File can be downloaded using curl or wget, so not network-related

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Additional Information:
Have tried reinstalling brave after clearing ~/.config/Brave Software folder
May be related to sync?
Firefox doesn’t have this issue

I am having the exact same problem.

My OS:
Fedora Workstation 41

Brave is installed as a flatpak, from flathub.org
Brave version:
Version 1.75.178 Chromium: 133.0.6943.98 (Official Build) unknown (64-bit)

Name Application ID Version Branch Installation
Brave com.brave.Browser 1.75.178 stable user

In Firefox it works perfectly
