Description of the issue:
Downloading files (PDFs, JPGs etc) doesn’t work. Attempting to download anything doesn’t seem to have any effect.
Reproduces how often:
Every time: downloading doesn’t work at all.
Operating System and Brave Version
OS: Linux machine 6.7.0-arch3-1 (Arch Linux)
Brave: Version 1.61.120 Chromium: 120.0.6099.234 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information:
I checked that the downloads directory in the settings is correct and I tried downloading files in a private window but the issue persists. Also, I can’t change the downloads directory from the settings because pressing the “change” button does nothing.
The same issue happens on Ungoogled-Chromium version 120.0.6099.224 (Official Build, ungoogled-chromium) Arch Linux (64-bit) but not on Firefox. I browsed your forums and saw multiple threads about this but no solution.
