Device Limit Reached, What should i do?

Hello there, i’m facing some problem here. Since windows crash and give me some trouble usually, i format my pc at least 3 times an year. I work in linux and use windows to pastime, so i have linked my uphold account on linux, smartphone and windows. And i’m getting the following message on rewards: “Device Limit Reached |Your wallet cannot be verified because you’ve reached the maximum verified device limit.9/12/2021”
I’m using brave browser since at least 3 years now and usually i format my pc and restart brave rewards linking the uphold account would be ready to go.

Can anyone help me about it? It’s possible to unlink accounts? If yes, how?
I understand this block system exist, because it would be possible to create infinite accounts farming BATs and this would be a problem, but this it’s really uncomfortable since i use brave since years, recommended it for at least 5 friends, created github issue post for bugs … I’m really into your browser and trying to help, so i would appreciate some help for this frustrating situation. Because i thing i will lost my BATs on this or at least be limited to get more.

There is no way at the moment to delete older instances of Brave unfortunately. Only option is to connect any new devices to Gemini, however, Gemini too only allows 4 device limits.

But Brave has any solution on sight? They are aware of this problem? If not, can we contact or notify someone about it?

If i use gemini, the problem will not be solved, he will appear again in some time.

I’m having the exact same issue. Some people tried to contact them, however there is no support email, but maybe trying to send them a PM on Twitter could work. I don’t know if they are aware of the problem, and as a European user, I cannot use Gemini so the problem remains.

Brave is aware of it. However, they say Uphold enforces this 4 max lifetime device limit. If you contact Uphold they throw the ball in Brave’s court. I guess both are aware but cannot do anything about it. Yes if you use Gemini the same problem will occur and not be solved. It is just the only thing you can do if you still want to be paid for Ads. Or else you simply cannot get paid out. Trust me no one is happy about it. I have held off buying a new PC for a while now because of this. I am stuck on Manjaro Linux on my laptop and cannot switch over to Ubunts. On my 2009 Windows PC I am stuck using it on a x32 version of Brave and cannot do anything about it.
