Every now and again I’ll type a search query into the address bar expecting Google to give me the results as usual, but sometimes it searches using Yahoo or some other search engine.
I’ve been into my setting and have already deleted all other possible search engines and it still happens (Yahoo was never an option for me).
How is this happening? It feels extremely deceptive or, at the very least, a technical oversight that needs to be fixed asap. I shouldn’t be lead to believe I’m searching using Google when it’s actually something completely different.
