Crunchyroll wont play episodes on brave

Description of the issue: Attempting to play any video on Crunchyroll returns the error SHAK-6007-403-4035-403-4035-GENERIC I have tested on both edge and opera and neither of them have this issue.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Crunchyroll in the brave browser.
  2. Navigate to any series and play an episode.
  3. Error mentioned previously occurs.

Expected result: Episode will play without any issues.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.67.119 Chromium: 126.0.6478.114 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Operating System: Windows 11 Home
So far tried: Running in private window, running with a new profile, running as a guest, disabling extensions and shield

  • Ensure shields is Up
  • And try disabling and re-enabled Widevine in brave://settings/extensions
