I’m opting in to this thread too. Login works on private window that’s about it

Here’s what I did that fixed it
Something went wrong error on brave browser, other browsers worked and so did brave private browser.
turned off all extentions
turned off all brave shields.
cleared all history and cookies and cashe (basic tab)
no vpn on
still didnt work. Then magically I tried doing all this again and instead of using the basic clear browsing history. Select the advanced tab and click all time for range. I also selected Hosted app data which perhaps is what fixed it for me. Good luck everyone else.
oh and something I didnt think twice about either is in your brave settings under Brave rewards, I unchecked “Auto-Contribute” Could be something there.

Is Widevine enabled? Go to brave://settings/extensions and turn it on. Crunchyroll requires DRM, and if videos aren’t playing for you then this might be it.
Same issue as everyone else. Only doesn’t work in a normal window. Tried the fixes in the thread and I got pretty much the same result as the others.

Now im having the same problem on netflix and hulu. Im able to log in and see everything, but unable to play videos

the issue only seems to be present on my desktop Windows computer. everywhere else I can log in normally
which shield option fixes it?

Brave developers pls read: @Mattches @fanboynz I have the same issue and I can log in successfully in other browsers & private brave window. I used developer tools to see the response in the console & the issues from crunchyroll server. Reply here if you need further info to debug.
