Credit Card Number Valid. Brave shows invalid

Description of the issue:
Within the last couple of weeks, Brave has started to mark my mastercard as invalid even though the card number has been used numerous times over the past months with no issues. Brave shows the credit card input field with a red border and will not let the credit card form be submitted.

After trying this on 4-5 different websites, I decided to try those same transactions on Chrome, and I was able to submit the form.

It seems that the logic in Brave was changed sometime within the last 30-days or so which started causing this issue. Prior to that, the card was registering valid. It has been saved in Brave for about 7 months and has worked fine until the last 2-4 weeks.

Unfortunately, I would have to give you my credit card in order to reproduce the issue exactly which I won’t do.

1.33.106 Chromium: 96.0.4664.110 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
This seems to be limited to MasterCard verification. American express, discover, and visa seem to all be working fine.
