'Create shortcut' no longer works on MacOS

Shortcuts created with Brave’s ‘More tools > Create shortcut…’ no longer open for me.

The created shortcut app bounces in the dock. before disappearing.

I’ve tested with brave open / closed. Restarted computer, reinstalled browser and created new shortcuts to test.

The open in window is a lifesaver for me. Please fix!

MacOS Catalina 10.15.7
Brave version Version 1.35.104 Chromium: 98.0.4758.109 (Official Build) (x86_64)

EDIT: Not solved as yet but marking the other thread as the solution for future visitors to this page. Looks like devs are well aware and a fix is in progress.

Thanks for doing that search. I did see it before I posted here.
unfortch it’s a three year old thread with a solution made for windows computers.

I do think that this is a release issue and something in the code broke this time around.

I’d love to hear from a dev.

I am also getting the same thing on 1.35.104.
