Brave shortcuts/apps wont open (macOS Big Sur)

Description of the issue:
When I create a shortcut/webapp (Settings>More Tools>Create Shortcut…) for a website inside Brave Browser (last version), it won’t open (bouncing once in the dock then disappearing)

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to https://keep.google.com/ (example, any website is the same)
  2. Got to : Settings>More Tools>Create Shortcut… (check “Open as window”)
  3. Try launching the app

Expected result:
The webapp/shortcut should open

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.35.104 Chromium: 98.0.4758.109 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Additional Information:
I’ve seen other posts about the same issue, I don’t have either BetterTouchTool nor BetterSnapTool installed. I tried to create new empty brave profile and create the shortcuts from here, doesn’t help. My shortcuts were all working yesterday and I didn’t changed/updated anything on my Mac since then. Thanks for your help !

I hate to post a “me too” post but I am having the same issue. Mine is for monday.com. Was working a couple days ago, then stopped working. No other changes on my system.

@Perka Do a favor and install the update they just did for desktop, which is
Version 1.36.109. The reason I’m suggesting this now is they had been having issues with PWA crashes and everything for MacOS. They did some fixes in the new update and I’m curious if it might help with what you were experiencing.
