About once a month chatgpt does not load and says it is “detecting unusual activity”
Here are the things I have done that do not work for me.
- Turned off shields
2.cleared cache (in settings) - Turned off extensions / only allowed them read sites when click
- always allowing cookies for chatgpt website (would prefer to not do this if do not have to)
Things that do work.
4. Switched to “private window”
5. switching to another browser
I want to know the solution that works to finish this issue once and for all because I go through this once a month and it is beyond annoying and time consuming.
Please help.

P.s every time this happens it takes a few hours and then randomly starts working again. but that sets me back time wise.
p.s.s In addition - it seems that recently with the new Brave update - my browser does not update or tell me to update and allow me to do so within the broswer, resulting in me having to update manually (aka install manually). How can i fix this issue?
