Click on pinned tab opens in new window?

I’ve noticed over the past several weeks, there are instances- repeatable but random- when I click on a pinned tab, that tab will then open in a new window. I’m able to drag the tab from the new window back to its rightful and original spot in the primary Brave window so it’s primarily a nuisance but is seemingly a bug or conflict with something which has been introduced.

Anyone else seeing this? Thoughts around what might be causing?

Brave Version( 1.25.72)= Windows 10

As there wasn’t any feedback from within the community, I switched back to Chrome and haven’t experienced it. Hopefully this annoying bug would get resolved so I could return to Brave.
