Changing guest window default search engine

Hey,
is there any way to change the default search engine used by guest windows?
I have changed the search engine in the settings, but that only seems to apply to regular & incognito windows, in guest windows the search still pops up goolag unless I remember to prefix the search with a search engine keyword (eg ":d " for DuckDuckGo).

I’m on Brave version 1.26.74 if that matters.
