Certain Website(s?) only displayed as mobile version on Desktop

My issue: a certain website (matchroompool.com) is only displayed as mobile version on my Desktop Brave Browser. I haven’t found a way to force it into Desktop mode. I also don’t know if more websites are affected by this problem.

This issue goes away when I reinstall the Brave Browser and delete all browser data. So after a fresh install, matchroompoo.com is displayed in the correct Desktop version.
I have also made a backup of the Default folder from User Data and when I replace the fresh Default folder with the backup, in order to restore all my passwords, payment methods, browse history and wallet - then I get the same issue: matchroompool.com displayed in the mobile version.

So apparently there is some issue with my browser data and I don’t know how to fix this. I want to resolve this problem without loosing my data, such as history, bookmarks, passwords, etc.

Does anyone have an idea where the root to this problem may be?

Try clearing the cookies/cache. Not a specific browser thing. Possibly clicked on a mobile link which set the mobile cookie. So clearing it would remove it
