Can't play some YouTube videos

Right now I only have an example of a purchased video but I have had the same problem on free videos, I just didn’t post about it back then. But right now I can’t play episodes from a purchased season:

Impractical Jokers - Elephant in the Room

I do have a number of extensions which sometimes break functionality on websites but whitelisting the domain in the ad blocker extension or opening the website in Private Window without any extensions usually solves the problem. But not in this case, I can’t view this video with or without any extensions.

I will update if I come across a free video but this one is what prompted me to post.
This is what I get:

Is widevine enabled in brave://settings/extensions ? (or try disabling/re-enabling). Also using a VPN could affect playback if the videos are geo restricted.
